The fun continued on day 2 and we finally had a completely sunny day. Thank you to everyone who contributed flowers, stars, fairy's and more peace signs. You really truly are a beautiful pixie..
Yesterday, we took to a muddy Citadel Hill and let the eager beaver Halifax folk express themselves with some art puke fun. Bleeaaahhh!.. Thanks to all the muddy contributors..

I had fun designing this flyer (tribute to Diego Rivera) for Kirkwood and then the day I finished it, the party got cancelled. A big WEH WEH WEH for that.. Thanks Cobra.
This is where we stand after the first 2 festival days. Thank you Montreal for all the support and thanks to everyone who contributed. Next stop, Halifax...
Jabbawockeez and Lights.. I managed to catch the Jabbawockeez dance crew and they are pretty sick, like if they were made out of robot parts. I also briefly saw Lights (pop chicky) and her beats/synth sound pretty cool live, but I didn't see any lights. Maybe next time she'll play in the dark..huh?
So me and brother-man Rob are touring with V-Fest this summer across Canada working on a mural/collage. Here are some pics after day 1. Boom Boom Pow...
Talented Toronto clothing designers Bustle recently teamed up with Belvedere to help them launch Belvedere IX and invited nine local artists to paint a bag in celebration of IX.
The bags were featured in latest Bustle show at Toronto Fashion Week a couple of weeks ago and are now on display and up for auction in the library of Hôtel Le Germain (30 Mercer Street).
Please drop by the newly renovated Victor Restaurant (at Hotel Le Germain) after 6:00 p.m., this Friday, April 17th. Luxurious Belvedere IX cocktails and light fare from Victor will be served.
All bags will be sold by silent auction, with a portion of the proceeds from sale going to support SKETCH, a working arts organization assisting street involved and homeless youth.

Just wanted to let you know that I'm so happy that I started shooting with film! There is a special beauty that comes with it. From the click of the camera to the element of surprise when I get my film developed, I love it all. Here are some of my film pics that i like..
the view from Omar's balcony. His early 1900's apartment is beautiful.
I submitted my Wan Rooster Chai painting for a laptop skin on infectious.comand it is now up for voting. If you like what you see click here and you can vote for it..
I recently was skimming through some pics from my trip to Barcelona last spring. One thing I love about being in Barcelona is going to hang at Barceloneta. It's probably the coolest city beach that I've been to, or maybe I just know it the best. The surrounding little neighborhood is neat to linger through. Definitely a must when visiting Barcelona.
The guy with the bag in the bottom right corner is most likely saying "Cola. Fanta. Beer.. chocolatte"

After a recent trip to Mexico City I am still in awe of what an incredible city it is. Mexico City is massive and there is so much to see. I can't wait to go back! About a year ago I really got into the beauty of shooting with film and I wanted to share a few pictures from this great experience that I got to share with some great friends..
The Mariachi boat
Lovin' the sun
Xochimilco(the X is pronounced like an S) is really special. It is said to be the Venice of Mexico City and like to refer to it as so-chill-milco cause it is just so chill as you cruise through the calm water canals under the sun with your friends. As you're floating along on your boat other boats come along side you to offer you drinks, delidious authentic cuisine and mariachi services. It's really peaceful and the scenery is beautiful and interesting.
. .. ...so I'm happy to be taking part in the first ever Drawn to Develop event happening on Thursday. It's a photography event in support of street kids international. Featuring 40 Canadian photographers such as Floria Sigismondi, Russel Monk, Ishi, Jordan Eady, Brendan Meadows and me (yeh yeh). For a complete list of participants go to drawntodevelop.com. The task was to use drawing from a street youth as inspiration for a photograph. The prints will be auctioned off with all proceeds going to street kids international. Art inspiring art for a good cause. It's all good.
